The bag I use every day
It actually started as a sample.
Every new bag I design, I wear myself for a while first. Just to see how it works in everyday life. Does the zip sit well? Is the strap in the right place? Does it fit enough without becoming too much?
The Wild Swan started as a sample without a print. Purely to test it out. But once the bag was finished, with the swan on the inside, I couldn’t bring myself to let it go.
It’s just right. It holds plenty, but not too much. And I actually really like that, because otherwise I end up carrying all sorts of unnecessary things I never use anyway.
What’s always inside
Alongside my everyday essentials, my Wild Swan always contains a small watercolour set. I inherited it from my aunt. I like to sketch on the go or in between things, and lately I’ve been colouring in those drawings more and more often. So it’s a small set, but one that always comes with me.
That’s what I love about a good bag. It doesn’t just carry your things, it carries a piece of you as well.
More space than you’d expect
The Wild Swan is compact, but don’t let that fool you. At 23 x 15 x 7 cm, it offers surprisingly generous space. The base is extra wide and reinforced, which allows the bag to stand upright when you set it down. There is a large main compartment for your everyday essentials, an internal zip pocket for a small wallet, and a wide front pocket for your phone or notebook.
The strap is easily adjustable, without any fuss, so you can wear it at exactly the length you prefer. As a crossbody, slightly shorter on the hip, or looser over the shoulder.
And then, when you open the bag: the swan print. You only see it once you open it. Each piece is hand screen-printed in the atelier, on the inside of the leather. Every bag individually. During the process I always receive photos from the atelier. It’s always such a joy to see how the print turns out on the different leather colours.

A bag for every day
The Wild Swan works for a busy day as well as a night out. With jeans and trainers, but also with something more dressy. It has a timeless, classic look that works with any outfit.
It comes in 13 Keecie colours, from warm Cognac and deep Aubergine to fresh Powder Pink. All bags in the range share the same press-stud system and large front flap, making them easy to mix and match.
