We love botanical prints. For more than fifteen years, Picking Flowers has been part of our collection, a classic that reflects how we see the world. But sometimes someone comes along who takes that feeling one step further. That is Dilys Moons.
Dilys is a garden designer. Her gardens are not neat, millimetre-trimmed parks. They are filled with hollyhocks, foxgloves and wild roses. Romantic, lush and effortless. Modern cottage, as she calls it herself.
When she asked if we could create something beautiful together, the answer was an immediate yes.
How the design came to life
We didn’t know each other yet, but soon photos were flying back and forth. Stepping stones, roses, thistles, hollyhocks. Everything that makes Dilys’ gardens so distinctive. Through calls and messages, the design gradually evolved. A little fence removed, or perhaps put back again. Pruning together until it felt just right.
A familiar bag, a new story
The Cottage Garden is a collaboration between Dilys Moons and Keecie, and her signature is hidden on the inside.
For this design, we chose a bag that many Keecie fans already know: the Humming Along. A model that was once part of our core collection and is still much loved. Spacious, supple and suited to everyday use, a silhouette that simply works.
For the Cottage Garden, we brought it back because this bag offers exactly the space the design deserves. Open it up and you’ll see it: a screen print of Dilys’ cottage garden. A stepping-stone path leading downwards, surrounded by hollyhocks, wild roses and thistles. Everything that makes her gardens so unmistakable, brought together in a single design.
The print is not visible on the outside. It’s something just for you, a small surprise every time you open the bag. Familiar on the outside, a whole garden on the inside.
Shared values
What makes this collaboration so special is not only the design, but also the shared belief behind it. Dilys designs gardens with biodiversity as a guiding principle. Keecie makes bags from European leather, crafted by hand with care. We both choose timelessness and quality that only becomes more beautiful with time.
Limited edition, consciously made
The Cottage Garden is available for a limited time and is made to order. Only what is ordered is produced. No overproduction, no leftovers. Just exactly enough.
How it works
The bag can be ordered from 19 to 27 April via our website. After that, the bags are handmade and we will ship them end of May to everyone who has placed an order.
