Family Tree: your new favourite bag

I wanted to design a bag for those days when you need something just a little bigger. For work, a day out, or simply for everything you want to take with you. This is the Family Tree.

The design

Once the shape and size of the bag were ready, I started working on the print. At first, I thought of a dove, but eventually it disappeared and became a tree with several birds in it. A tree you might want to sit in yourself.

As soon as I was happy with the paper version, we made the first sample in the sewing workshop in Poland, where we have been working together for many years. It is a small family business, where everything is sewn by hand and made with great care. I always test every Keecie bag myself before it can move on. Is it comfortable to carry? Does it look good when you put it down? If something isn't quite right yet, we adjust it together with the workshop until the bag is exactly as I imagined it.

A surprise on the inside

From the outside, the Family Tree is clean and timeless, just what you would expect from a Keecie bag. But open it, and you'll discover a screen print of a tree filled with birds, each with its own little spot. A small secret that only you know about, until you open your bag.

The screen print is applied to the leather by hand, so no two bags are exactly the same. Your Family Tree really is yours.

Room for your whole day

The main compartment is lovely and spacious: a bottle of water, your tablet or small laptop, a cardigan for when it gets cooler outside, it all fits. In the inner pocket, you can keep your keys, pen, card holder and phone, so you can find everything quickly. On the outside, there is another open pocket for your notebook or reading glasses.

Thanks to the wide base, the bag stays upright when you put it down, and it opens wide so you can see at a glance what you're looking for.

The Family Tree is a bag for every occasion. Smart enough for the office, yet spacious and flexible enough for a day out with friends. The leather only gets more beautiful with age, so the longer you carry it, the more it becomes yours.
