The big surprise of each Keecie item is on the inside: open your bag or wallet and discover the playful silkscreen print on the inside.
Our prints are often inspired by flowers and animals, and chosen to fit the shape and function of the design. Take the elephant on the inside flap of Elephant Joke, which represents the spacious size of the bag: big enough to take anywhere, but compact enough to not lose overview of what’s inside. And why does Head Office have a print of an office on the inside? Because this bag is ideal for work: it can fit your papers without creasing them, as well as a small laptop, and if you take off the strap, Head Office transforms into a nice laptop sleeve.
All bags and wallets from Keecie have their own print, which is screen-printed with sustainable water-based paint in our sewing studio in Poland.
Did you know that we have developed special editions for two museums in Amsterdam? A credit card holder, a wallet and a bag with almond blossom prints for the Vincent van Gogh museum, and a series based on Melchior d'Hondecoeter for the Rijksmuseum. This seventeenth-century painter depicted several birds in his painting ‘The Menagerie’: the one bird even more exotic than the other. We chose two of these birds to show off in the Rijksmuseum items by Keecie.
