A garden in a bag. Literally.
The Cottage Garden is a collaboration between garden designer Dilys Moons and Keecie, and her signature is hidden on the inside.
Open the bag and you’ll see it: a screen print of Dilys’ cottage garden. A stepping stone path leading all the way down, surrounded by hollyhocks, wild roses and thistles. Everything that makes her gardens so distinctive, brought together in one design.
The print is not visible on the outside. This is something just for you, a small surprise every time you open the bag.
The bag itself is a familiar favourite: the Humming Along, returned in a limited edition guise. Spacious, supple, perfect for everyday use, and on the inside, a whole garden.

Material
All our bags, cases and wallets are made with love in a family sewing studio in Poland. Every Keecie item is therefore completely handmade and unique!
This item is made from Used Look leather. We use 100% high-quality leather that is specially made for us in Italy. The leather for this bag is full-grain aniline cowhide. This is a type of leather that ages beautifully with use. The leather has a thin protective layer of paraffin, which keeps the texture beautifully visible and means that ultimately no two Keecie bags are the same!
All Keecie items are printed on the inside with an original Keecie print, hand screen-printed with a water-based paint. For our zippers we use strong YKK zippers, and our press studs are from the brand Prym.
Care
All Keecie items can easily be cleaned with mild soap. The leather does not need to be sprayed. Any scratches can be removed by blow-drying the leather. The heat of the hair dryer causes the paraffin layer on the leather to melt into the scratches, making them less visible.

At Keecie we believe that quality control and repair service are essential to sustainability. For us, this is just as important as the design itself.
So if a button or zip ever breaks, just email us and we will repair your Keecie free of charge.
Klaartje de Hartog: ‘When I am designing a new bag, I always keep in mind that it should be easy to wear - but also easy to repair. This is why we don't use any linings in our bags, for instance. It simply makes a bag much less likely to break! Also, we work with reliable zippers and buttons that last a long time, even after frequent use!‘Fortunately, we very rarely need to repair a Keecie.’

Where can I see your items in real life?
We deliver to various stores. Here you will find our store locator.
I would like to see the colors in real life. Is that possible?
That's possible! You can always visit one of our sales points. We will also happily send color samples so that you can see the colors in real life. You request the samples (max. 5) via info@keecie.nl. You can also always visit our studio in Amsterdam. Please call or email in advance.
How long can you last with a Keecie?
Very, very long. We know fans who have been using their Keecie for more than 15 years. Read our blog for tips on maintenance.
Where are your products made?
Our products are made by hand in a small-scale sewing workshop in Poland. We have been working with this family workshop for more than 10 years
What kind of leather do you use?
We use high-quality Italian certified leather. The colors are made especially for us.
